Doncaster Metropolitan District Council is developing a bold and ambitious strategy for economic growth focused largely around the implementation of a range of transformational projects and activities involving the delivery of several key investments over a period of 10 years and a Council funding commitment of £100m.

Applications are invited from legal service providers for partnering appointments to provide the Council with legal advice over a period of 5 years in relation to the implementation of this strategy. Providers will be expected to demonstrate relevant experience and capacity to deliver complex high value projects involving both general and sector specific law.

The closing date for applications is Monday 16 June 2003 and tender specifications will be issued to qualifying applicants the following week. Short-listing interviews will be held in the week beginning 7 July 2003.
