The 21st Century In-House Lawyer

Conference - Tuesday 21st January 2003

Building on the success of the first 21st Century conference, this programme brings together a series of presentations considering some of the new (and ever present) issues facing in-house lawyers today.

This year's themes touch on some of the biggest issues of 2002: Enron, governance, value and the opportunities presented by possible deregulation of legal services. In addition, we will look at new issues in legal team management and the increasing interest of in-house lawyers in pro bono work reflected in the presentation by the CEO of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group.

First Law will be speaking on the subject of 'Obtaining Best Value from External Legal Counsel - Elephant Traps for the Unwary'.
